Mohammed is an experienced environmental review and monitoring expert with more than 20 years’ experience, usually with international multi-disciplinary teams. He has been involved in development, implementation and co-ordination of environmental studies and supported company management in understanding data requirements for environmental issues and their implications for successful implementation of company Environment Management Systems across East Africa. Originally a marine zoologist, Mohammed was involved in the development of coastal sensitivity marine mapping off Zanzibar and regular contributes to academic publications on coral reef systems. He has travelled widely in Asia, the Middles East, USA, Africa and Europe.
