Our story
Sazani Associates was founded in 2005 through an FAO:UNESCO flagship programme on Education for Rural People. What began as a voluntary partnership grew from a shared commitment to learning as a driver of sustainable change.
Over the past two decades, Sazani has developed into an international organisation working across education and sustainable development, with a sustained focus on how local knowledge, livelihoods and social dynamics shape governance, risk and resilience over time.
