Ewan Smout

After studying BSc Geography at Aberystwyth University, Ewan specialised in earth observation and data analysis with an MSc in Remote Sensing and GIS. He works to support ongoing projects and streamline workflows with the use of remote sensing data. He handles various technical queries ranging from data acquisition and analysis to coding and GIS. Starting as a GIS Intern, he looks to further develop his skills and be a part of work supporting those most in need through the position of Research & Data Officer. Ewan has a passion for the environment and the natural world and uses his knowledge of physical and social geography to better understand the people and places Sazani Associaites’ work relies on.
