Erkan is communication, sustainability, social risk management, and resettlement professional with a wealth of international experience spanning over 17 years across different regions of the world, including the Middle East, Europe, West Africa, and Far East Asia. He has a proven record of accomplishment in challenging and multi-cultural environments of various industries, namely mining, maritime, and non-profit sectors. He played an instrumental role in large-scale multinational companies and organisations by integrating financial, social and environmental considerations into decision-making to promote a sustainable future, enable higher return-on-investments and sustained profits. He is currently based in London and pursuing his Master of Laws (LLM) programme with a focus on Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law at the University of East London.
