Volunteer with our Coastal Education and Reforestation Initiative (CERI)
The Coastal Education and Reforestation Initiative (CERI) is Sazani's five year strategy to restore and protect Zanzibar's coastal ecosystems while empowering local communities.
CERI focuses on ecosystem restoration, sustainable livelihoods, and community empowerment.
Key activities include mangrove and coastal forest rehabilitation, promoting sustainable practices, and providing education and technology to enhance employability and climate smart enterprise.
CERI aims to address environmental challenges and reduce poverty through innovative, technology-driven programs, making a significant impact on both the environment and the people of Zanzibar
