Sazani Associates delivers tailored training and research services that bridge education, sustainability, and inclusive development. Our training programmes draw on participatory methodologies, competency-based learning, and transformative pedagogy to build capacity among educators, civil society actors, and corporate partners.​
We provide continuing professional development for teachers and non-formal educators across the UK and East Africa, with a particular focus on global learning, climate education, and gender equity. Our Global Learning Pathway training, developed through the Connecting Classrooms for Global Learning (CCGL) project, supports inquiry-based, interdisciplinary approaches to critical and creative thinking.​

Our research is applied, participatory, and policy-relevant. We generate evidence to inform decision-making across themes such as social acceptance of resource extraction, gender equality and social inclusion (GESI), coastal adaptation, and education reform. ​

By integrating local knowledge with international standards, we co-create insights that shape strategies and influence policy. ​
As partners in Horizon Europe and other global initiatives, we lead research on social licence to operate (SLO), ESG frameworks, and the role of education in sustainable transitions, ensuring research translates into action.​

Strategic Vision to Action Planning
Specialists in Participatory Action Learning and Research, we work with communities , NGOs and Governments globally supporting inclusive co-creation of visions and action plans to develop and meet sustainable goals .

Our Who Decides? Scenario-based planning training co-developed with the University of British Columbia, explores complex power dynamics, stakeholder engagement, and ethical decision-making in the context of natural resource governance and responsible investment.​
